Position Overview

Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is actively seeking a skilled Payroll Specialist to join their dynamic team in Arizona. This role offers the flexibility of working 100% remotely but requires the candidate to be located within the greater Phoenix, AZ area for occasional in-office meetings. The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for handling high-volume payroll processing and ensuring accurate and timely payroll operations.

Responsibilities

  • Process high-volume payroll efficiently and accurately.
  • Reconcile payroll data to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Coordinate with various departments to manage payroll changes.
  • Prepare and generate monthly payroll reports for review.
  • Compile quarterly payroll reports, including Workers Compensation.
  • Assist employees with payroll-related inquiries and provide support.
  • Oversee domestic year-end processing and W2 tax filing.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in payroll processing.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience with SAP and ADP software is preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel.
  • Proficient in 10-key data entry.
  • Ability to work remotely with occasional in-office meetings in Phoenix.

Required Work Hours

The position requires availability during standard business hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
